The Leadership Secret Most People Miss

Today I want to talk to you a little bit about leadership. 

As we start this year I think everyone wants to engage in better leadership. How do you lead people to do more than they were doing? How do you cause actions to happen that wouldn’t have happened if you wouldn’t be involved? And I think in the beginning at least, if you’re not really a strong leader you don’t understand the first concept of leadership – everybody thinks it’s about leading others, and in reality, the beginning of leadership is about leading yourself; leading you. 

Do you have the ability to lead yourself to do what’s necessary to build a network marketing business? Do you have the ability to lead yourself to engage in the daily habits that are gonna build and create a future for you? Can you lead you in doing the fundamentals on a daily basis? Can you lead you on being consistent? Can you lead you on keeping your energy in a great place? Can you lead yourself? Can you employ yourself?

We’re really good at being employed by others, but do you have the ability to employ yourself?

Think about that as you start this year and decide, the first step to strong leadership is leading you. Once you’ve mastered that, then it’s going to be much easier to lead others.
