Leadership is attractive.

It is alluring when done exceptionally well!

People want to be respected, listened to, and want to feel as though they are motivating and inspiring others at the same time.

People may think leadership roles look cool, easy and fun.

People may think leadership is glamourous and trendy.

BUT…

  • Do they want the accountability, ownership, responsibility, and commitment, that come with it?
  • Do they want to invest the time it takes to build up trust and relationship with strangers?
  • Do they want to put their personal time, resources, and skills into a hope of something greater?
  • Do they want to make the hard decisions and tough calls?
  • Do they want to be the captain who might sink the ship should problems, challenges or issues not be overcome?

It takes loads of personal determination, effort, dedication and commitment to continuously persist and be successful.

You need to be 100% all in and care about other people’s performance and output.

Leadership is sacrifice, not entertainment.
