Above all, leadership requires you to guide people toward their "promised land," leading with integrity, conviction, and unwavering principle.

Yes, the world often holds leaders to impossibly high standards. Where others may falter, you are expected to stand tall. Where others may err, your mistakes will be magnified. But this is because leadership is not ordinary; it is extraordinary. You are called to see what others cannot—to envision possibilities in the midst of challenges—and to translate those visions into reality.

Here are seven leadership nuggets to keep in mind as you carry out this sacred duty:
