Basis

In this work we refer to Leadership as 'The process of social influence in which a person gets the help and support of other people in the accomplishment of a task'.

This goes beyond the authority that can be granted by the organizational hierarchy or power based on designation. In fact, the Leadership analyzed and proposed here is part of the 'Servant Leadership' recognized in the Agile mindset.

Objetive

The objective of this work is to establish an analytical, quantitative and scientific basis for the analysis and investigation of the variables that affect our leadership proficiency.

At the same time, it is a tool that allows self-analysis and reflection on the areas of opportunity and development, in which is recommended to consider an Agile and Growth mindset to achieve the development of the individual over time.

Expression

In its most basic form, the 'Leadership Proficiency Level' model (LPL) is represented by the following expression:

That is, if at least one of the independent factors has a low or lower value, it significantly impacts the overall Leadership Competency Level (LPL). Variables normalized.

This expression can be developed and taken in greater detail depending on the context and area of study. In fact, in the case of Servant Leadership, the variable I - Intelligence is developed as Emotional Intelligence and Cognitive Intelligence, as it is in the following case.

The 'Leadership Proficiency Level' model - applied to Disciplined Agile?

The DA 'Leadership Proficiency Level' is an application of the LPL model applied to Disciplined Agile? from the Project Management Institute (PMI?)

It went public for the first time on October 28, 2021 in the PM Tour Mexico UNO 2021 Congress: "Driving the Transformation of Mexico", the first National Congress organized by the 5 PMI local chapters, in celebration of 25 years of PMI in Mexico:

The general formula, considering n Process Goals is given by:

Note that in the general expression we consider additional variables as weights corresponding to each normalized Process Goal as a function of time, and normalized Emotional Intelligence and Cognitive Intelligence as a function of time.
