As the primary plant representative, this role will manage all program activities, serve as the main contact for external ISO auditors, and oversee corrective and preventive action processes. Utilizing Lean tools and statistical techniques, they address customer concerns, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. They will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Additionally, they will develop quality objectives, lead Advanced Product Quality Planning, and manage quality assurance for production. They will also oversee RMA and customer complaint processes, while guiding and coaching employees on quality functions.
The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of operations at a newly acquired, MSHA regulated chemical manufacturing facility with approximately 50 employees. In this "start-up" environment, the Plant Manager will drive the implementation of safety, production, and operational processes to ensure compliance with MSHA regulations, while maximizing efficiency and output. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Plant Manager will oversee production, maintenance, quality control, and workforce management, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership in building and developing teams, optimizing plant performance, and scaling operations in line with corporate objectives.
