Casa Foundation Launches the Black Advisory Hub (BAH)

It was great to join the Regional CEOs and Managers of the Black Advisory Hub at the National Retreat of all Partners of the program. It's been such an exciting adventure working in the last 12 months with industry experts to create Solution Hubs to serve BIPOC businesses and their supporting organizations across Canada.

In August 2021, the Federal Government of Canada announced its approval of 30 Non-Profit Organizations as Managers of the 1st ever Black Entrepreneurship Fund. Casa Foundation was one of the 30.

Since then, Casa Foundation and its partners have created the Black Advisory Hub (BAH) in many Canadian provinces to support, empower, and advance black businesses, including

The Black Advisory Hub (BAH) at the School of Management, University of Quebec at Montreal, s:erving Eastern Canada,

• The Black Advisory Hub at Chambre de Commerce Canada Mali serving Western Canada.
• The Black Advisory Hub at Ghana- Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Skills for Change serving Southern Canada and
• The Black Advisory Hub at Casa Foundation, serving and delivering the program at the National level.

The BAH- National business accelerator serves businesses at growth, established, and loan ready stages, and is available to all Businesses. Details of the BAH services can be accessed by a click here: Black Advisory Hub.

The National retreat was an opportunity to review, reflect, and replan based on the lived experiences and feedback from our cohorts Nationwide, the lessons learned from the businesses served, and the application tools to be utilized.

In addition to these hubs, Casa Foundation now powers a Solution Lab, as an incubator for businesses at ideation stage, looking to raise startup capital, and seeking professional support to hire staff, get mentorship, sponsorship, or partnerships, in line with our mandate, and for business professionals looking to re-skill, up-skill, and retool.
