Becoming CFO for the first time is not just another promotion. Many new CFOs face a significantly different experience than any of the roles they held before. The functional work becomes secondary to enterprise leadership, requiring a change in mindset and skillset. Strategy needs to become second nature and dictate every decision CFOs make.

Our third annual Europe and US Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence Executive Organization and Compensation Survey examines the organizational structure and compensation of executives with AI and data analytics responsibilities. Leading In The New Era: Unlock Your Energy By Owning Your Day

Many leaders are experiencing exhaustion in these challenging times, with 82% reporting extraordinary strain on their ability to adapt to change. Ed Manfre, a partner in our Los Angeles office, suggests a time and energy management approach called the LCD Method. It emphasizes starting the day with a 30-minute routine to enhance self-control and well-being, dedicating 60 minutes to the most important task, and ending the day by envisioning a successful tomorrow.
