Leadership Lessons: "The Lion In The Storm"
A fact many do not know, but over years of study, research has proven that a lion prefers to hunt in a storm. Researchers have come to the understanding that this anomaly is due to the noise of the storm distracting the lion’s prey.?
...Yes that’s right. A lion prefers to go for its goal in the toughest of conditions.??
Pouring water, blasts of flashing light, and earth-shaking rumbles…A difficult environment that would cause most to accept failure for the day and take shelter.?
But the Lion…Without any effort at all…It endures the testing conditions like nobody else. It tunes out every single distraction and zeroes in on its highest priority.?Its survival.?
A Leadership Lesson From Nature:
Do not let distractions hinder you toward your life goals. Use it to fuel & help you.??Elite focus requires the ability to tune out the negative, and use it to find a way.??No matter what.?
Storms (or challenges) will always come and go.??It's those who adapt and overcome that hold the eternal key to success.?
…Something beautiful we all can learn from the great lion and a mindset I aspire to achieve every single day.
If you want it bad. Remember this.
