Leadership

During an interview, Maya Angelou was asked, “As someone who’s known Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama, what do you think makes a leader great?” Her response? “A leader sees greatness in other people. You can’t be much of a leader if all you see is yourself.”

I help global companies centralize their localization efforts into one coherent process so they can scale up content translation in a time- and cost-efficient manner.

I couldn't agree more with this important key leadership characteristic. You have to help people learn, grow, and advance in their careers even if that means they leave your organization. Nothing endears loyalty in my opinion much more than helping people achieve their potential.

Could not love this more. Dr. Angelou was an inspiration and an American treasure.
