Position Overview

The successful candidate will possess at least 10 year of experience overseeing multiple simultaneous projects at an enterprise company. The candidate will also hold an active PMP certification and preferably a Scrum Master certification.

Our client is a leading climate controlled solutions organization. They focus on moving refrigerated items and perishables around the world. The organization puts sustainability top of mind, working to provide these solutions while maintaining a better planet. Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and manage a cross functional team to achieve critical milestones on a facility project
Communicate with internal stakeholders on status updates within the project, allocate resources to achieve these things
Make and prioritize decisions about this initiative using data and facts surrounding project lifecycle and schedule
Provide a broad range of project planning and management to ready this facility to deliver on new expectations
Work with Supply Chain IT teams to assist in cloud/AI technology to help get most competitive rates on shipments

Required Experience & Skills

10+ years of experience in a project management setting at a F1000 enterprise
10+ years of experience executing on project plans and achieving critical milestones on time and within budget
10+ years of experience communicating project expectations to IT as well as functional team members
10+ in both agile and waterfall environments
PMP certification is required
Responsible for projects used by one or more of SBU’s, TRP systems, finance systems, HR, across all of that space. Basically anything that is not something they sell to customers
They have a team of 12-15 PM’s depending on time of year that go out and run projects
Have 40-60 go lives this year
This PM initially will be someone who will help in the supply chain space
More important thing is the adherence to standard of work, very senior PM, lead cross functional team across business and IT
Primarily waterfall but on journey to be agile
Waterfall and agile experience important
He is looking for a PM that helps with the parcel project, a lot of their shipments are going parcel today with only one or two carriers
Want to look at other platforms and rate shop for parcel shipments across multiple providers
Cloud capability with a vendor to help them with the parcel need to match up with transportation tool
Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) connects with vendor to get partial reads from various carriers and send integration to internal platform to award rates, send notifications
Bachelor’s degree, more the experience that folks bring, he has high value on PMP cert and scrum master cert
Really it’s a resume of solid experiences working with a large organization and ability to get complex projects across the finish line on time and on budget
