Leadership Happens

Nobody is born to lead. Those who think that 'To Lead' is their fundamental right by virtue of birth, society status, education or for that matter anything else are living in a world where they believe that it is a privilege of a few while the truth is that 'Leadership Happens' and it happens to a seldom few.

Now, why do I say that? Isn't it a common belief that if you have reached a certain point, it's the world's duty to acknowledge and follow what you are saying. The challenge in this false notion is that you, as a person, start believing that whatever you say, do or ask is correct and in the interest of everybody. 

Leadership happens and it happens when there is a sense of higher and better purpose. This sense of purpose drives you to do things which you normally would have not done. This sort of purpose unites people and guides them to follow a path that in other circumstances they would have not thought about or would have ignored.

Leadership happens to someone when the person is made self aware. Yes, integrity, truth, empathy, positivity, intellect, wisdom and many other qualities are required but without a higher sense of purpose, these qualities just make you a good person. In short, if something inspires you to change the status quo towards a better future for everybody then yes 'Leadership has 'Happened'.

Higher, more noble and better the purpose, greater is the Leadership.
