"The church in Jerusalem grew overnight from about 120 to 3,000. (Acts 2:41 NLT) Soon the number of men in the Jerusalem church had grown to about 5,000, so with women and children, the total was up to 15,000 or so. (Acts 4:4 NLT) After that, the number of believers greatly increased in Jerusalem. (Acts 6:7 NLT) All the explosive growth took place without a single building program." 5 年Thank you Laurie D. Kennedy! Today Churches are rather investing a lot on the infrastructure and exerting their efforts on the non-human elements. Jesus invested in the lives of people and bestowed His lives for them. He did n't have "big churches", but He used every opportunity and place for His teaching. Apostles used the houses of Christians. Now, the church is laboring a lot on unnecessary and undeserving places, but people are hungry of both spiritual and food and dying. This is the time that we need? ?to pray for the church to commit for its biblical mission.?
