Ciao a tutti!
When working on Friday, often good vibes come as the weekend is approaching, which anticipates for relax and recharge. Who doesn't like it ? Of course, I am one of those :) Before jumping into weekend mode, if possible I try to retail a little time to reflect about what I have been experiencing in the past weeks - with the intention to turn the reflection into a lesson for the time ahead (... valid from Monday, of course :) ... ).
Often, the reflection topic is about leadership, but other topics may be of inspiration.
About the name.
Two of my previous colleagues ( Rémi Gandoin first, continued then by Lucas MARION - both amazing by the way), used to host meetings in DONG Energy A/S (then changed name into ?rsted A/S) where several people where invited (mostly other collegues, but sometimes also external to the company) and encouraged to make a presentation about a recent work challenge. Usually topics were technical, and could range accross several disciplines. The series was called "Uncertainty Fridays", and at the time I left that company had reached the 100th episode, or around that. The legend wants that the name is derived from the the topic of the first meeting that gave spark to the series, that was about uncertainties in wind energy assessement. Uncertainties in that field are seen very much as a "black magic" (and sometimes it is, I talk from experience ) , and many people benfitted from that meeting, to the point that Uncertainty Fridays was given with a dedicated fund from the company to promote know how sharing, on a monthly basis. That is at least the version of the legend I know.

Despite 20 years of working experience, I must admit that is there where I experienced the true power of know how sharing. Sometimes these presentations and topics were more kind of open questions rather than academic papers, but - believe me - they where so powerful to go beyond their original intention ; lots of technical debates and reflections were born at those meetings, either technical or more philosophical (for example : how to approach problems, discovering new areas and similarities of challenges accross different disciplines, more general learnings).
I do not know whether this forum still exists and if so it is in this format. I really do hope so.
All of the above is why I would like to name this little diary "Leadership Fridays".
The diary is intended both for me to store lessont learnt in my journey trough (project) management, and as interactive tool for questions . I would wish that the reflections may be enriched and (hopefully) challenged as from the ones who would like to contribute to them.
