Leadership

It is true that the people have made a mistake in allowing self-serving individuals to make the choices and political leadership . That makes it all the more imperative that we stand up, unite, and take the most necessary
position of control for our society. The community does belong to the people and it is they who must be sure that it operates in the most just and equitable way for the greater benefit of the majority of all .The time is now to make the necessary changes in society that will lead us into a better world . I am not naive enough to think that this could happen immediate, overnight but any good thing must have a beginning somewhere . I therefore urge all Progressive people to join now and let's begin . I know that there are conscientious and caring people in the
world who can take a position of leadership and competently carry out the duties . certain names come to mind; Harriet Tubman , Sojourner Truth , Martin Luther King among others. If we diligently strive you may be able to
find some who are at least close to this excellent level.
