I'm posting to confirm the arrangements for the next two Leadership Development Programme networking dinners for company secretaries and governance professionals.
The first dinner will take place on Monday 16 July, and our guest speaker will be Alison Kay, Group General Counsel & Company Secretary for National Grid plc.
The second dinner will take place on Tuesday 18 September, and our guest speaker will be Greg Smith, Director of Strategic Programmes & Group Company Secretary at the Local Pensions Partnership, and ICSA Company Secretary of the Year in 2015.
Both dinners will take place in the First Class Lounge (private dining) in the Parcel Yard Pub and Restaurant, located just above Platform 9? inside Kings Cross Station, London.
Because of the popularity of the dinners I have had to take a difficult decision. Attendance at the dinners will be open to colleagues who are, or have been, on the Leadership Development Programme, or who intend to join. Otherwise attendance is only possible through membership of the Networking Club, which is for colleagues committed to professional networking as part of their career development. The Club operates on an annual membership basis, and provides for attendance at four Programme dinners a year. If you miss a dinner during the year, your membership is rolled forward. If you subsequently join the Programme, the costs of Club membership are reimbursed. To soften the blow, I am happy to offer (for one more time) new Club members an extended membership of fifteen months i.e. attendance at five dinners rather than four.
If you would like to join the Club, and attend the dinners, please contact me on 07739 088208 or [email protected]
Please be aware that the dinners are very popular and always over-subscribed. If you would like to attend one of the dinners, please contact me without delay.
