Leadership, communication and the power of relationships
I’ve often said that the people I admire the most in business are independent agency leaders. And over the last 18 months, as our industry, largely populated by small businesses, has rallied against such unforeseen challenges, my admiration and respect has only deepened.
Through all of the conversations I have had with agencies during this time I've been very aware that those dealt the most difficult hand must surely be in the events sector.
In this episode of Small Spark Theory, I speak to Sarah Yeats, Managing Director of events agency Sledge. We discuss what happens when the world stops, your projects are cancelled and your pipeline disappears.
I’ve called this episode ‘overcoming adversity’ but it’s so much more than that. It’s about leadership, resilience, communication, but most importantly, the power of relationships.
A huge thank you to Sarah for sharing her experience. As always we will be giving away a copy Sarah’s recommended read: Be More Pirate by Sam Conniff Allende. Leave your comments below for a chance to win.

3 年Great stuff "Resilience is a skill" was one thing that resonated with me. It's now a mainstream issue for discussion at primary and junior school, whereas in the past, I guess the thinking was that you either had it, or you didn't.
