Are you and your company truly living by your core values? Core values are the guiding principles that shape decisions and actions, both personally and professionally. These days, so many companies claim values like integrity, trust, and loyalty. Who wouldn’t want to claim those as their own?
Recognize
Are we simply showcasing our core values on our website and office walls, or are they truly ingrained in our culture? At MindsetGo, we follow three key principles to ensure our core values are lived and upheld:
Respond
Start by defining the specific behaviors that reflect each core value. We refer to these as success templates. Ask yourself, What would it look like and sound like if someone in the organization were demonstrating these values?

2 个月Too often, if you asked people to describe their organization's culture, you would get conflicting answers. When companies (and people) don't have a clear purpose, silos arise and the focus becomes protecting "our own little part of the world."

2 个月I have personally seen at several companies where written core values are prominently displayed. However, many people within the organization that are on the fast track to promotion, don't model core value behaviors. It seems when this happens rank and file employees may just ignore the core values. Why bother? I definitely endorse your 3 Rs approach.
