This week, the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber unveiled its 47th class of the annual program. Those selected will be part of a months-long course designed to boost their leadership skill and further engage them with the community.
This year's class features leaders from a wide-range of businesses and nonprofits, including Roger David of Gold Star , Jeremy Hayden of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP , Emily Frye Hartmann of Kroger and LaNae Barnes of 美国银行 .

Kroger, Albertsons deal faces new pushback
Seven secretaries of state, led by Jena Marie Griswold of Colorado, signed a joint letter urging the Federal Trade Commission reject Kroger 's acquisition of rival Albertsons Companies , arguing the deal will adversely impact consumers, farmers and smaller grocers. The deal, announced in October 2022, has attracted widespread ire since its inception and is still awaiting regulatory approval. Read more.

Tri-State impresses Beemok Capital officials
The long-term fate of the Cincinnati Open remains in limbo, but Bob Moran of Beemok Capital 's sports division told Steve Watkins the tournament's outpouring of support in Warren County "makes us feel good about being here."

Startup tops Inc. 5000 for Cincinnati companies
Thirty-six Cincinnati companies landed on Inc. Magazine 's annual Inc. 5000, with downtown-based Cloverleaf taking home the top spot locally. At No. 468, Cloverleaf posted 1,243% growth over a three-year period.
Other local firms to make the list include: March First Brands, LLC , Narwal , InfoTrust , Total Quality Logistics , among others. Liz Engel has the full list here .
Portion of Ohio National HQ up for lease
Things have been busy for Ohio National Financial Services since its $1 billion acquisition by Constellation Insurance, Inc. The company is set to become AuguStar Life and now one-third of its Montgomery HQ is up for lease.
Todd Pease with 仲量联行 is handling the deal and told Steve Watkins he's already seeing tons of interest in the 34,000 square feet of available space. Read more here.
