I hope that at some time in your career you meet someone that changes your life for the better. I'm not talking about a handout or undeserved promotions. I'm talking about someone who sees you for who you are, where you are, and lifts your eyes to see your potential. They coach you into greater levels of confidence and success, and then they step back and let you soar.
I've been fortunate enough to have worked closely with several such people. Because I have known them my family and I have been blessed. I've been thinking about what made these people unique, and I wanted to share those thoughts with you. In my first draft I wrote some of my feelings for each of these points. I think this would be a lot more powerful if you were to take each point and study about them for yourself. If you aspire to be a better leader or a better follower, this list is for you.
