What can a leader do when faced with universal resistance to change??
Resistance to change and transition can manifest itself in many ways, from foot-dragging and inertia to petty sabotage to outright rebellions.?
The best tool for leaders is understanding the predictable, universal sources of resistance in each situation and strategising around them.?

These are just some thoughts that flow through people's minds before they try to do something that might cause a drastic change in their lives.
This is because of the fear of failure/unknown/comfort.
We're afraid of what is out there and of what can go wrong. If we have all the necessities to survive and are comfortable, then we see no reason to try something new.
Sometimes we get carried away with trying to change and end up causing more problems for ourselves instead of solving them.
Some recent research by a UK business school found that over 70% of change initiatives failed due to people's resistance.?
Not because they were not good ideas. Not because they were not backed by sound analysis, but because they didn't bring the people along.??
