When we think of leadership, it’s easy to associate it with authority, titles, and the ability to make decisions that others must follow. Such an interesting read and I think the cross team collaboration is one a lot of leaders don’t always focus on. We get so caught up in our team goals that by working with other teams this can benefit future projects and break down the ‘silos’ as you’ve said and… keep employee retention high as they will inevitably want to progress and this progression may be a sideways move in the business. We don’t own talent, we merely borrow it for awhile.
