Leadership is an action, not a position

Leaders has to be inspirational ,driven with solid vision, Strong communicator in all aspects, If you ask me the one thing which stand out to me as leader is willingness to act.

Great effective leaders take information, process that with analytics and common sense and then use it to do something with strong action. These leaders builds strong connection between information and action and they act quickly when it is required. Not taking any action can drive adverse risk to the organization.

These leaders don't need to have strong designation/position. Their purpose is to improve things, to be better. It actually drives lot if friction with others. But every change has to go through friction and strong opposition. These leaders observe issues and talk about them by being fearless, end of the day nothing is personal. 

Leadership is not power and position. Its about expressing yourself to do right for business and people in the organization. Its about reaching out than climbing up.

Its always about strong commitment to mission which has to translate with strong and aggressive action plan with governance. 

You are not leader if your behaviors don’t demonstrate the integrity of doing the right thing.
