LEADERS VOTE...

and sheeople hope that the leaders know what they are doing, blindly trusting or hoping elected candidates will make things better. Voting is one of the most important rights and responsibilities an individual has in a free country, yet nearly half of eligible Americans do not make it to the polls.

Regardless of party affiliation or whatever your political views are, voting is the ultimate impact statement of your views and in what direction you want the values of the country expressed. If almost half of the country neglects their responsibility, this expression, we may never know if our present leaders reflect the country's over-arching values. We will however, continue to have raw discourse, arguments and bad rhetoric in attempt to dissuade or persuade political opposition in a manner unbecoming of good government stewardship and statespersons of our country. We know this to be true because it is exactly what is happening today.

So, let's make democracy work for us. Exercise your right and fulfill your responsibility as a citizen. Let your vote do the speaking and rein over the nasty rhetoric of recent years. Be the leader of your life and the example for our children and others to follow!
