Leaders must know that family is important.

One of the most important projects in the life of any human being is undoubtedly the family. It is time that large companies, businessmen, directors, and other leaders in decision-making positions understand this. It is no longer about manipulating people to focus purely and exclusively on work objectives at the cost of neglecting their personal or family relationships, a fact that will undoubtedly lead to failure that will affect future performance and the possibility of maintaining or increasing the well-being of the individual.

Today, one of the labor characteristics most appreciated by workers is flexible hours, the possibility of working remotely, and the monitoring and involvement of personal life in working conditions. Companies or institutions that assume that absorbing energy and time unconditionally focused on work and its demands will continue to create toxic environments lacking in empathy that cause stressful, competitive dynamics and mediocre individual and group functioning, undermining any creative possibility or expression of genius.

The times of harsh and distant bosses, with low levels of involvement, individual reward and punishment strategies that generate fear and cutthroat internal competition are clearly behind us, and today it is known that a manager, director, or boss who does not genuinely commit to the well-being and development of its people, who do not know how to motivate teamwork, trust between peers and subordinates in such a way that the product of group work is always superior to individualities, will cause damage that is difficult to compensate in any undertaking since when the psychological security of the subjects is violated, it is almost impossible to reconstitute the lost trust and with it the required commitment.

A clear example of team performance with strong, honest, humble, and motivating leadership has been the sporting work of the Argentine soccer team that recently won the World Cup in Qatar, where group performance was at all times ahead of the competition. personal ambitions, where each gesture indicated the interest of the team in achieving achievements, beyond circumstantial defeats or mistakes, where unhealthy criticism from some sectors failed to demolish confidence in group functioning and clarity of objectives, with strategies brilliant that went beyond proper names.

The dedication, collective work, clear communication, conflict resolution, delivery within a shared frame of reference, and the human quality of the group have paid off, and the images of the maximum achievement showed most of the players looking for their families, for their origins, their primary loves so necessary when it comes to success, but even more important in the face of defeat, criticism, and pressure from groups interested in their failure.

If I ask you whom do you work for? You may mistakenly answer the name of the company or institution where you work since almost without hesitation you work for your family or in any case for yourself, only they have made you believe that you work to meet the needs or dreams of others.
