One of the great qualities I admired in the Late Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola which was well demonstrated during the campaign ahead of the 1993 Presidential election is his penchant for facts and figures. MKO's interview were a delight to watch as he removes ambiguity of verbose political manifesto and reel out 'living' data that would determine policies and implementation strategies.
I had the same sense listening to Prof Kingsley Moghalu on recent a TV interview. He exudes a true breath of fresh air. I wish more Nigerian (men and women) of such quality would equally throw their cap into the ring. I am aware there is great difference between data and implementation, but let's start from HARD data.
Without working with active data, a leader's probability of effectiveness would be close to that of making a hit shooting at moving targets in the dark and fully blindfolded.
