Leaders are becoming Managers

I very often see posts on this plaform, like it's not important to get a job in good company, big brand or a multi-million worth brand companies, its important to find a good boss.
Good boss????
What's that?
Good, better, best depends on the reference points and are very subjective.
Do you think we are in a era of good leaders???
How many of those reading this post really care for sub-ordinates?
Are you not having even a cent of Tail clearance attitude or a Zero error syndrome.
MBA is turning all our leadership to management skill. I don't say that MBA is bad. Knowledge is always good, but when to apply what is we don't learn during such courses.
We only run around profit maximisation, compliances and comfort zone functions.
Do we really have to bother for above if we have leaders instead of managers. Leaders would automatically exceed profits, achieve compliance automatically and would move out of comfort zones.
Leaders understand the difference between resources and human lives. They bring out overall growth.
I learnt about inflation during my studies at IIM. I came across several categories of people.
I found many hotels not paying adequately to their waiters and security guards quoting about additional income in the form of tips from customers.
I found many security agencies not giving weekly offs, not giving them paid leaves to their guards due to cut throat competition of L-1 for bagging contract. Merely because industries and the corporate tycoons and their teams are looking for profit maximisation.
Some I find faltering on incentives like PF and ESIC, as they are not getting sufficient margin.
I had once rejected a comparative statement of quotes for hiring of unskilled manpower during my career at Air Force merely because it was clear that the vendor would violate and not pay the minimum prescribed wages to those working for his growth.
I also found many stating that we are growing rapidly and working beyond 8-9 hrs a day (almost to a tune of 16 hrs per day) is a routine for them. What quality of life they are bringing to the lives of their employees? Are they not curtailing the additional jobs by channelizing the work-schedule and planning to work in two shifts.
Let me bring out an example about something which I feel really abnormal.
"Daily necessisities cost almost equal to all strata of people, whether a beggar, labourer, waiter, security Guard or a CEO of the company."
However, if we take example of a labourer, waiter or a security Guard, we try to maximise the profit by managing compliances and curtailing their privileges. These people even don't get basic life and keep struggling for their survival and forget their growth.
We tend to curtail their paid offs, paid leaves and offer bare minimum wages. We manage compliances as we learn that very fast.
I urge to all those people who are capable of making differences to lives of such people through this platform, please try to make difference to the lives of those who are not capable of doing anything to you.
Please turn your managers into true leaders.
Because it is more important to grow and become successful than to be merely profitable.
Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!
