Job Title: Lead Hardware Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Roles & Responsibilities:
??Full lifecycle responsibility for development of automotive electronics including requirements, architecture, schematic, BOM, circuit simulation, worst case analysis, DFMEA, and oversee PCB layout.
??Responsible for hardware architecture and circuit design for wireless and bus communications, power supplies, processors, memories, sensors, discrete and analog inputs, output drivers and HMI.
??Work with suppliers for bill of material component selection and planning. Identify alternate suppliers and make changes if needed to ensure components in the design are available.
??Support builds and testing of pre-production prototypes.
??Support product qualification testing for environmental, electrical, and EMC conformance.
? Interface with customer engineers and internal engineers in other functional areas (project management, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality) to ensure product success.
??Lead and coordinate all project team generic and customer specific activities in US and India market to satisfy project timing and technical requirements.
??Lead hardware product development from requirements to product launch.

What we expect:
??Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
??Minimum 10 years of experience preferred in automotive electronics.
??Good Understanding of EMI/EMC, CE & FCC compliance.
???Excellent functional knowledge of embedded systems including Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, regulators, standard digital logic ICs, and discrete semiconductors.
??Experience in High-Speed design, WiFi, BLE, UWB, GPS, 4G and 5G.
??Experience in layer stackup, signal integrity and board bring up.
??Knowledge and experience in power electronics design principles, including AC-DC and DC-AC conversion, power semiconductor devices, and control techniques.
??Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to power electronics systems, such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, fault detection, and isolation techniques.
??Experience in Reliability analysis, DFMEA and MTBF.
??Experience in circuit design using Altium & circuit simulation using Pspice.
???Tools: Altium, Allegro, Orcad, Pspice, LTspice & Tina.
