Lead Generation Tip #1: Review Your Full Marketing Funnel

Your episodes are also one of the most powerful assets you have to repurpose your content into assets that will attract & engage new leads.

Don’t publish an episode only to let it fade away after its immediate release!

To give you a few ideas,

  • Clip parts of your episodes into smaller video and audio clips for social media
  • Transcribe your episodes into an SEO optimized blog and post on your website
  • Use the transcription to write social media captions
  • Work with a PR firm who can create and distribute press releases about your show from your episodes
  • Tap into organic search results by optimizing your show notes, episode titles and show description to capture more targeted website traffic
  • Pull time stamps from your full episodes and send specific, targeted sections to warm sales leads
  • Record your episodes live (a tool like Streamyard can be a great option) and invite audience members to listen in as an exclusive bonus perk for being in your community

Lead Generation Tip #2: Leverage Your Partner Networks

You can also leverage sponsors and partners to grow your audience and generate leads. The conversation around growing your audience or pursuing external sponsorships is a bit of a “chicken and egg” conversation – you can accomplish both with the right strategy.

To give you a bit of context, you can work with sponsors to create:

  • Podcast content that they can share with their audience directly
  • Co-branded webinars and virtual events
  • Interview the sponsor on the show and invite them to share with their audience
