Lead From the Front
I like to buy from companies who fanatically believe they're building the best product available. And when a CEO is willing to make bold statements and subject themself to the crossfire and scrutiny that comes with it, that impresses me. Especially because so few are willing to do it.
I've known a lot of CEOs. And most are qualified to make budgetary and managerial decisions - but so are the VPs and Directors who work for them. In order for a company to be truly great, the person at the top of the food chain has to get off their ass, and put it on the line in front of the world. And so does everyone else in their organization.
Too many people wait for someone else to do what they won't.
