?An invitation to relocate your career to Vancouver Island, BC

Vancouver Island, BC. The warmest weather in Canada. Winter, 3-5 days you might miss it. Vancouver island is home to Victoria, BC’s capital city. Island population almost one million. Tourism, shopping, industry, and amazing weather.

  • We’re a mid market heavy civil GC, located mid Island, with a slower pace, a faster career track and a moderate climate. • This is where the rest of Canada comes to?vacation.?In a cold year we may see 3-5 days of snow, it doesn’t stay long. Temperature, winter low at 2C, summer high of 29C.
  • Real estate is still affordable. A five year old, 4bdrm, 2400 sq foot home, runs about $599k. Add to that the many affordable ocean view homes and golf courses, your new position will allow you to afford a high quality life style.

?

Activities, outdoors, -

  • Golf, hiking, all outdoors. The weather mountains and ocean views make this a wonderland.
  • Fishing. This ocean is full of salmon. Everybody either has a boat or knows someone with a boat. You’re on the edge of the Straight of Georgia, the islands and inlets make it a natural destination for world class salmon fishing.
  • Sailing, both cruising and racing, either on your own or organized by the many local yacht clubs. Yachts from 27’ club racer / cruisers, to larger 36’, 40’?ocean going Beneteau’s, and up. The Victoria to Maui International Yacht Race has been an annual event since 1965.
