Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate NLP enthusiast who will be leading our NLP initiatives around our AI Platform. As the lead Data Scientist, you will be working directly with me on the toughest and most challenging problems in NLP handling multiple proprietary and public data in the healthcare industry. You will be able to work on Generative text algorithms and add feathers of patents and trade secrets to your cap.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with millions of data points (both structured and unstructured) to identify linkages and gather insights.
• Leverage the power of Generative text algorithms to create new product concepts.
• Iterative improvements to the existing features as well as development of new features.
• Work closely with the Platform Engineering Team to deploy the AI models.
• Build and grow your data science team

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Prior experience of 3+ years in data science, preferably in the healthcare industry, related to NLP
• Familiarity with one or more of the open-source NLP frameworks (NLTK, SpaCy, ELMo, BERT, etc)
• Significant previous hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, and PyTorch.
• Experience with open-source LLMs and ability to quickly experiment and learn newer models with the fast-changing landscape in the Generative AI space.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Development standards, including version control (git) and managing production codebase.

IDEAL

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in computational linguistic theory
• Prior work experience with healthcare and social media data, preferably in entity-linking concepts
• Previous experience with Cloud Platforms especially with one out of AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
