Roles & Responsibilities:

In this leadership role, you'll spearhead the development and implementation of groundbreaking embedded software applications for industrial use. Your expertise will bridge the gap between software and hardware, ensuring robust and reliable systems.

• Technical Expertise: Design and implement embedded software architecture using Embedded C. Deep understanding of embedded systems at both the software and hardware level. Proven experience defining solutions for electro-mechanical systems with hydraulics. Strong foundation in control systems, with MATLAB experience a plus.
• Communication & Integration: Integrate various sensors (temperature, pressure) for seamless data acquisition.
• Utilize Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) like eCos and ThreadX, and navigate memory management techniques.
• Expert in communication drivers and protocols (RS232, SPI, etc.) for smooth device communication.
• Exposure to fieldbus protocols like Modbus, Bacnet, and CAN is a benefit.
• Development & Testing: Utilize development environments like IAR for efficient coding. Integrate wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) for enhanced functionality (if applicable). Leverage debuggers and other tools for troubleshooting and optimization. Conduct thorough hardware debugging and testing. Implement structured and modularized development and testing practices. Utilize unit-level testing tools (CPPUnit preferred) to ensure code quality. Integrate development processes with Jenkins (or similar tool). Maintain clear and concise documentation.
• Additional Skills: User-level understanding and hands-on experience with software development tools. Experience with software development and test automation for display products (a plus). Proficiency in Python scripting language.

Job Description:

? Expert in developing embedded SW applications in Embedded C

? Embedded concepts at SW as well HW levels

? Experience in high and low level design of product applications

? Experience in usage and integration of sensors like temperature, pressure, etc

? Structured, modularized development and testing at all levels for different embedded software components like

? RTOS (eCos, Threadx), memory, etc

? Communication drivers and protocols e.g. RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI etc.

? MCU architectures – 16 & 32 bit Preferably – Renesas

? Exposure to fieldbus protocols like Modbus, Bacnet, CAN, etc

? Embedded environment - IAR

? Knowledge & work exposure to wireless technologies e.g. Wifi, Bluetooth.

? Hardware debugging and testing (Peripherals, schematic reading, oscilloscope, Multi-meter etc).

? User level understanding and knowledge with hands on work experience.

? Any continuous integration tool. Preferably – Jenkins.

? Experience of 5 - 10+ years of relevant work experience after formal degree of B.E/ B. Tech, M.E/M.Tech (Electronics Background)
