Boasting the brand’s signature glamorous European spirit, the mid-century modern look has been conceived by award-winning ALT Design & Construction. The new design is styled to both integrate seamlessly with the Cyberport surroundings and immerse guests in an aspirational ambience. The combination of relaxing muted tones with colourful accents creates effortless harmony between the impressive interiors and the stunning surrounding nature.

Each of the hotel’s 170 spacious guest rooms and suites have been completely updated with a contemporary, thoughtful design complemented by views of the ocean and the verdant surrounding hills. Filled with streaming natural light, each room features a stunning design complete with premium bathroom amenities and products from apothecary-led beauty brand MALIN & GOETZ. Guests can comfortably work from the hotel room at a standing level desk, while enjoying a cup of complimentary illy coffee from the in-room espresso machine. Some rooms have been designed specifically for longer stay guests and feature a large fridge with freezer, microwave, robot vacuum, generous storage spaces and the Kara Smart Fitness Mirror with in-built virtual trainers and workout programs.

?Sustainability at the Forefront

Award-winning sustainability is paramount for Le Méridien Hong Kong, Cyberport’s reinvention as a modern lifestyle hotel. Most dramatically, visionary guest relations robots by Rice Robotics greet guests and provide services directly to rooms. The hotel has received multiple awards on excellent air and water quality within the premises.

?Additionally, replacing plastic water bottles in guestrooms is the Waterlogic slim water tap which is the most highly certified UVC water purifier in the world, along with in-room glasses and jars made from recycled glass. The hotel is committed to reducing single-use plastic and has replaced mini sized toiletry bottles in guestroom showers with larger, pump-topped bottles.

With maintaining a green footprint top of mind across the premises, energy saving has been rolled out widely along with sustainable food waste partnerships and enhanced recycling practices.

Smart technology room control and LED lighting in all guest rooms ensures both comfort and best practice energy saving. Zero food waste initiatives include partnering with O-Park, Hong Kong’s first organic resources recovery centre that turns food waste into biogas and compost, along with daily food donations to local charities. Even guest transfers are via a fleet of electric vehicles.
