Le Groupe de course Octane, the promoter behind the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada, is proud to announce strategic changes within its executive team aimed at strengthening organizational management and ensuring the Canadian Grand Prix remains a reference event of excellence. These announcements stem directly from the strategy implemented by the new executive team, which has been in place since last August, led by President and CEO Jean-Philippe Paradis and Sandrine Garneau, who, after more than a decade with the organization, now serves as Chief Operating Officer, Brand and Strategies.
After transforming the Strategic Partnerships Department and achieving record revenues, Marie-Pier Bergevin has been appointed Vice President of Sales, Customer Service, and Chief Revenue Officer. She will now take on the responsibility for ticketing, suites, customer service, as well as food and beverage services. Her extensive experience in strategy, business management, and customer service is a major asset for the organization. Throughout her career, Ms. Bergevin has distinguished herself with her customer-centric approach and her ability to turn complex challenges into effective solutions. She will contribute to the team’s excellence and to the increased visibility of the organization within the community and business sectors.
Meanwhile, Catherine Boily has been appointed Vice President of Finance, Human Resources, and Corporate Services. After modernizing the finance department by optimizing strategic planning processes, budget management, and supplier relations, she will now oversee human resources and corporate services. She will ensure that business practices, contracts, legal matters, and human resources meet the highest standards, in partnership with the BCE team to implement best practices. Ms. Boily’s strategic vision, business expertise, and leadership will guide the???? ?teams through organizational transformation, ensuring the Canadian Grand Prix remains a prestigious event for years to come.
