Clint Clarkson, CTDP  is just another victim who accidentally stumbled down the rabbit hole of corporate learning and development. He is the Founder & Managing Partner of eLearning Alchemy, a custom eLearning development firm. While he’s known for being upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic, Clint is still easily offended by comic-sans, bullet points, and the excessive use of buzzwords. These are great snippets of information, and very funny, I see it in my daily work life.? However, properly written Learning Outcomes should reference Blooms Taxonomy of Verbs, and particularly the 'Verbs to avoid' such as 'Know' and 'Understand'.? These are verbs that are very hard to measure. As a developer/trainer/coach you should always ask your self 'how can I measure participant learning?'? For the LO's above you could write: 'State the policies that apply to you'. "Explain the Importance of company polices and procedures.' Keep up the great work, very insightful and funny....! Merry XMAS to you all...!?

This strikes a chord with me at the moment, since I coach SMEs on developing performance based objectives and try to shift learning paradigms. Thanks for the laugh!?

This made me chuckle. Your observations are spot on.? Just goes to highlight that teaching is an art that is always being perfected.?Does the word pedagogy even turn up??Content is not learning. Putting that content online, just makes the mistake bigger. The world and IoT has moved on. I conclude that L&D lack internal learning and development (who is gonna challenge them?). Who polices the police? Using learning to click a tick box to say you have read a policy, not to understand but to cover ones back. Its crude, wrong and unprofessional. This needs to stop now!? Cannot wait for next episode.?
