"I couldn't wait to share this experience! This advanced lift training module is your entry level key to understanding and being able to commission, install, inspect, and do basic maintenance tasks on wind turbine lifts.
As SP-Wind always has Health and Safety as a primary value, in this module we pay extra attention to things such as human factors, hazardous energy and work areas in the WTG.
During the training we covered various lifts throughout the wind industry such as ZARGES, Power Climber Wind, 3S Lift, Avanti Wind Systems and Hailo with a focus to always reference manuals & guides and local as well as national legislation. It is important that participants can identify any component from any manufacturer in the manuals and guides.
This training reveals that daily checklist are crucial and incorrect installation and commissioning could lead to a possible fatality!

"I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to attend the first LCIIM training in Africa & the Middle East at SP-Wind! How exciting! The training presented to the group at this world class facility was very informative and practical. We were exposed to different lift manufacturers and components during the activities, which left me with confidence to be able to perform the necessary tasks. With a background packed full of experience, the instructor was able to reference detailed questions that ensured we understand the importance and operation of the components at hand. I enjoyed the group activities and participation with everyone contributing from their experience. The practical nature of this course certainly increased my technical understanding and skills with regards to the commissioning, installation, inspection and maintenance of lifts, and further enables me to carry this skill over to different platforms having a sound foundation to work from." - Dawid Meiring, Trainer & Consultant - Wright Training
