Ever heard of the Law of Cosmic Habit force??
For a moment if you pause and observe the nature around you, you will notice that everything that is associated with nature functions optimally and grows only when in a rhythm.
Nature believes, supports, and works in a RHYTHM. The Universe is in a rhythm. The sun, the moon, the planets everything is very predictable and functions in a rhythm. This is one of the reasons mankind is able to create calendars and predict well in advance summers, winters, rainfall, lunar and solar eclipses to name a few.
Look at how the clock functions. How rhythmic its movement and sound is? It is very predictable. If it is 10 am now you can bet all your money and say that in 30 mins the time will be 10.30 am and the clock will never let you down. Can you imagine what it would be like if the movement or functioning of the clock was not in a rhythm or became unpredictable??
What is music? It is nothing but sequential arrangements of the notes. If they are not arranged in a proper sequence the result would not be a rhythm but merely unbearable noise.
Look at plants, trees, crops. Man can easily predict in how many weeks, a seed will become a plant, when it will become a tree, when it will bear flowers and when the flowers will turn into fruits. We are able to do this only because nature works in a rhythm, is consistent and predictable.
Whatever imbalance there is in nature is purely man-made. We discovered air conditions, cars, airplanes, rockets, atom bombs, nuclear bombs for our own safety and comfort, thereby contributing to global warming. Nature is constantly adjusting to our inventions and giving back its response in the form of earthquakes, tsunamis, and other forms of natural disasters.
How does this relate to our own life and being successful, not so successful, or always striving for success?
All highly successful people's life is also similar to nature. If you observe closely, their life will be in a rhythm. Their calendars are well set, high level of consistency and discipline in the daily routine. Sticking to their values. Doing what they say and saying what they do. They own successful habits and stick to them consistently. Successful habits such as rising early and predictably at the same hour every day. Fitness routines, breakfast, lunch, learning time, going to bed every activity would be consistent and like a routine at the same time. That is why they are so highly successful.
For a common man who is wishing for a happy, content, and financially independent life, the biggest enemy is his inconsistency. He believes that being consistent and sticking to a routine is boring. He will become very predictable. Life has to be spiced up and it should be fun.
All sorts of questions and self-created challenges come up such as - what will others think if I go to bed early. Why should I rise early? If I have to get the contract, I need to socialize, smoke, and drink with the decision-maker. If I don’t party, I will become unsociable. Also, the fear of missing out takes over. These are some of the reasons probably 80% or more of the global population is not successful or always striving for success.
The way this universe and nature works is, it supports the growth of everything that is in a rhythm. When we get into a consistent and predictable routine on a daily basis, nature joins us and acts as a catalyst to hasten the journey towards our success. Once you start rising early, have breakfast, go about your daily tasks and then go to bed all at the same time every day, in a consistent manner, nature will aid in your growth. It will hasten and guarantee your success. You will find that your biological clock will tune to that and you will have very minimal health disorders. You will notice that opportunities come to you naturally, your mind and body will function optimally, your intuitive powers will fire up, you will be more alert to path-breaking ideas and all this will cumulatively spiral you up to become highly successful and more importantly happy and content in life attracting abundance of positive things. Because it is Natural.
This is called the Law of Cosmic Habit Force.

Boiled down, this is what being in a "flow" state is. We can feel when we are in flow state vs. in "drag" or "resistance" state. When we are in resistance, results mirror this. It's simple but not easy. That's why when I work with people I am bringing them back to having new insight on how to be in the state of flow vs. just operating at the intellectual level. The biggest leaps forward happen when operating along with the Law vs. in resistance to it. Thanks for your post.

4 年I find I'm more productive when I stick to a routine; but I feel that routine can stifle creativity. So if I'm in a routine I'm firing on all cylinders, but I dont beat myself up if the routine breaks because it happens for a reason.
