Goddard explained that attaining the desired end has everything to do with the state of one’s mind, not just actions. The Law of Assumption, proposed by Neville Lancelot Goddard, merely states that if you believe that you already have what you desire, then your desires will be fulfilled automatically.
By maintaining an assumption that your desire is fulfilled, physical manifestations of your desires are guaranteed to follow. Simply living your life with the assumption that your desires are already being fulfilled. By convincing your subconscious mind that you already have your desire, your body will be put into an automatic mode of creating this desire in your physical reality.
When you move through life like you already have your desire, you will frequently bend physical reality to make your assumptions come true. Until you have imagined your desires in a detailed, present-day fashion, you are not activating your desires. What Neville Goddard is saying here is you need to imagine what you want is already your reality, and move through your day like that is the truth. Everything that you experience is the result of your changing awareness, and that is why Neville Goddard is teaching that changing your assumptions, assuming that what you desire is there, is the only thing that is going to get you where you need to go. This shift in consciousness then brings about the manifestation of your desire. According to the Law of Assumption, as your inner states change, so too should your outer reality, for the world is simply a projection of your conscious mind.
To apply the Law of Assumption, you must be able to completely believe your desires are already being fulfilled. To learn to manifest using The Law Of Assumption, you first have to shift the beliefs and assumptions that you hold about yourself and your current reality. Meanwhile, people who are aware of the Law of Assumption are aware that without these basic beliefs, which are the ones underlying what you are manifesting, is already your reality, you are blocking your potential for manifestation.
