LavinMQ 1.3.0 is here!

Summer vacations have ended at CloudAMQP, and we're diving straight back into business with the announcement of LavinMQ 1.3.0. This release brings us closer to our goal of full High Availability (HA) clustering support—a feature planned for 2.0—while also introducing a range of improvements and new features.

Read our blog post for a detailed overview of this release.

Did you know that?

  • RabbitMQ is getting a new database! In RabbitMQ 4.0, the Mnesia DB will be replaced by Khepri to persist a cluster’s metadata.
  • Stream Queues in RabbitMQ can replay messages! Unlike traditional queues, Stream Queues allow consumers to re-read the same message multiple times, making them perfect for scenarios that require message replay and time-travel.
  • Quorum Queues are built for resilience! They use the Raft consensus algorithm to ensure data safety by replicating messages across multiple nodes, making them ideal for critical applications where data loss is not an option.

Meet the CloudAMQP team

The CloudAMQP team will be attending EuRuKo in Sarajevo (September 11–13). As passionate Ruby enthusiasts, we're excited to participate in and sponsor Europe's largest Ruby conference. Visit our booth to discuss message queuing and tech solutions. Don't miss our very own Erica Weistrand's presentation, "Ruby off Rails."
