Launching SAFE IAQ MMR: A Groundbreaking Indoor Air Quality Study

Indoor air pollution is one of the major issues faced by mankind. In our previous posts, we have discussed what indoor air pollution is, their sources and pollutants, and the measures that should be taken to reduce air pollution in our indoor spaces.

Recognizing the importance and severity of indoor air pollution, especially in Maharashtra, an indoor air quality study using the most scientific approach aims to effectively address the issues that TSL has extensively highlighted over the past few days.

For convenience, we are calling the project SAFE IAQ MMR (Study and Assessment for Formulating Environmental best practices for Indoor Air Quality in MMR). The main aim of this study is to evaluate the indoor air quality in various settings of the urban and semi-urban divide in MMR and study the interventions therein. This is the first-of-its-kind, dynamic study focused on benchmarking different indoor environments.

In our upcoming posts, we will delve into various aspects of this study. So stay tuned for updates and insights on how a science-based approach is expected to help achieve better indoor air quality in Maharashtra.
