We have noticed the interest of media professionals in news about the career journeys of their colleagues, new grant wins, fellowship selections, awards and job changes. Rightfully so because the love that reigns in the media professional community makes us love to clap and celebrate other people’s wins while we wait for ours.?

To make doing the “awwn” “congratulations” “cheers to greater wins” and clapping for your colleagues while you wait for your announcement easier. Media Career Development Network is pleased to bring to you “Media Career Diaries” a community-powered and community-focused content series for media professionals in Nigeria.

We are doing you one more by not only making the Diary full of gist only, but we will be bringing you industry-relevant news that puts you in the know on what the media is currently discussing, training, webinars, seminars, conferences and relevant conversations. We will also highlight a few impactful works that some media houses and professionals are doing, current opportunities and upcoming events to look out for.

All these are in line with MCDN’s goal of helping media professionals in Nigeria have more information and access to tools to position them for opportunities and career growth.

This content series is meant to be a community-powered and community-focused one and it won't be successful without media professional community members like you.
