Launching Kolaidoscope ??

Launching Kolaidoscope ??

I fondly remember how much I loved tinkering as a child.

My father always encouraged me to create, build, and repair stuff at home. With some beads, glitter, and (deliberately) broken old bangles, I took a shot at DIY-ing my first kaleidoscope.?

While it was a basic one, the thrill and joy I got out of it were off the charts!

For me, a kaleidoscope is about free-spirited creativity and embracing varied perspectives. As with one subtlest turn - we can create infinite patterns and infinite possibilities.

Similarly, within the kaleidoscope of our lives, with each twist and turn - we have the power to create a fresh, one-of-a-kind story for ourselves

Via Kola’idoscope, I wish to continue rediscovering the endless possibilities hidden in our everyday experiences and share them with all of you.

Leadership Code ~ Mindful Musings with Vani

Mini Masterclass on Prioritization and Time Management

How often do you say, “Oh I don’t have time for this!”??

Alluding to the Dilbert comic strip above, how often do we fill our time with tasks that, much like those blank pages, contribute little to our true priorities?

Do we really need more time? Or do we need more clarity to make time for what is important to us? Why is it that some people get more done with the same 24 hours than others??

At the heart of effective time management lies clarity – knowing what truly matters to you.?

And it goes beyond having a to-do list.

Defining your priorities helps you build a better, clearer roadmap for acing time management -? where you can consciously choose to invest your time in what truly resonates with your values, goals, and aspirations.

Here’s what I do:?

  1. Calendarization:?

I calendarize all my tasks - personal and professional. From hitting the gym to downtime for Netflix, planning a party to researching a speech months in advance – everything gets a sweet spot on my calendar. This forces me to be able to get to those things that I might have a natural resistance to get to.?

  1. Time-blocking & Pomodoro Technique:

Time-blocking ensures I am not rushed or overwhelmed, and have enough time to complete the task/s at hand.?

  1. Phone-free Deep Work:

I usually keep my phone away while working or while in meetings. I think our productivity and success require us to conquer the time prioritisation paradox. It may sound simple, but it can be one of the most effective things you do for your growth and learning.

Remember, time management is not just about ‘getting things done’. It is about living intentionally - making the most of what we have, and making time for more.?

As it is rightly said, "The magic you are looking for is in the work you're avoiding".

Pulse of Progress

Tales of technology, innovation, and more

Do you own an Electric Vehicle (EV)? - a car or a moped/bike?

And if you are planning to shift from a regular vehicle to an EV, what is your motivation behind it??

  • Cost Savings
  • Eco-Friendly
  • Like the feel of the rides

The EV market in India is rapidly growing. We’re riding the EV wave from early adopters to mass consumption - upwards of the bell curve. In August alone, almost 5.5 lakh units of electric two-wheelers were sold in India.?

Nirmala Sitharaman said that the EV industry will create five crore jobs by 2030. Not only that, India has the highest percentage of EV-skilled workforce in 15 countries! Amidst this revolution, global players are taking the fast lane to join India in the EV race.

As we accelerate towards an electrically charged future, how we will create a seamless and easy user experience for mass adoption, draws my interest.?

I believe EVs will change the way we experience transportation and create new user experiences, just like the mass consumption of cars altered the social fabric. With cars, our roads evolved and so did the surroundings. It gave rise to a network of amenities like charging stations, eateries, and more.

Similarly for EVs - Could recharging become as effortless and ubiquitous as charging our smartphones? Could EVs be remotely controlled like Alexa or even the latest PlayStation??

I am excited to see how things pan out.?

While it sounds impossible, someday no one will be in the driver's seat. The car will drive itself. Can you predict when this might be feasible on Indian roads?

And while the EV sales surge, do you know who is leading this frontier?

WOMEN!?:)

Six of every ten new hires in the EV sector are women who are skilled in business modelling, design redevelopment, e-mobility, and renewable energy management.?

Ola has set up all-women shop floors at their factories. From thousands of factory workers to CEOs, women are helping steer India’s EV surge…

As the wheels of EVs turn, they will drive India into a future where innovation, sustainability, and empowerment meet on the road to progress!?

#LifeLine

Reflecting on my journey, I have stumbled and fallen while trying multiple things, multiple times. But gritting my determination and not giving up has been my superpower. Somehow, my stubborn nature doesn’t let me give up. My conviction further adds fuel to the fire of not quitting.?

May you rejoice in your stubbornness, your convictions stay strong, and be a force of fearlessness… May your enthusiasm never wane and always outshine your challenges!?

Keep taking those bold steps forward! Just one step and then the next….look back to learn but don't stop… :)

Stay curious. Stay inspired.

Until next time,

Vani
