As per independent research every year more than ~60 million students graduate in the Indian subcontinent. Also according to a recent CMIE report that analysed the data between January and April 2022, the level of unemployment among graduates is 17.8 per cent. Some states in particular such as Rajasthan, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh have also not been able to provide jobs for more than one-third of their graduates.
Additionally, as per ET Online research, the overall expenditure of schooling a child in India in a private school from age 3 to age 17 is a whopping Rs 30 lakh. Given the cost of education and time spent it is quite essential to enable such graduates to land their first job with much more confidence.

CocoTechoes?is an engineering studio focusing on creating career success by delivering training, coaching and engineering solutions for upcoming talent in developing economies. With a major academic emphasis to realign education towards industry needs.?And with new age skill learning platforms it is ever so important for providing the needed push for making individuals job ready by imparting skill and practical knowledge of being great at their jobs.
The idea sprouts from the recent experience of trying to hire a batch of freshers. Post interviewing direct graduates, trained graduates from online EdTech platforms and trained candidates from other training institutes it was identified that none of the candidates have the required base skills which require them to start the job. And all of them were trained on theory based learnings and were not aware of necessities to conduct at their job.

They do not focus outbound to improve grass root level changes in the community by training and coaching talent for particular career paths.”

Our focus is to train, coach and create better software engineers, making individuals experts at Software Development which is one of the first job vertical we are focusing upon. The curriculum will be a non theory based program which incorporates scenario and use cases based training that imparts a key logical reasoning and understanding to individuals to get their base reasoning right so they can implement the same reasoning into any front end or back end tech stacks as per their future needs.
We intend to use this program to enable discovery of global talent in remote pockets, being identified for remote jobs internationally. Our goal is to build and market the best possible solution for companies looking to hire graduates and freshers enabling higher employment opportunities for newly educated individuals.
