?? Launching BOLD: A Game-Changer for Corrections & Law Enforcement ??

Are you at the helm of corrections, wrestling with how to uplift staff morale and retention? Pondering over impactful leadership development and wellness strategies that resonate with your team? Searching for a breakthrough that could transform the workplace atmosphere and foster a stronger, more empowered team? Look no further. BOLD is a new program under Hustle 2.0.

BOLD: Beyond Ordinary Leadership Development creates transformative experiences for law enforcement, correctional staff, and military personnel, offering dynamic coaching and innovative curriculum to unlock new levels of leadership and well-being.

BOLD holds the promise to revolutionize the way we approach leadership and personal growth within corrections and law enforcement; to ignite significant change, boost morale, and enhance the overall well-being of your staff.

BOLD is similar to Hustle 2.0 : turbo events + game-changing curriculum … but BOLD has a whole new audience: we're serving corrections officers and will soon branch out to serve and military and all law enforcement (e.g., police and sheriff departments).

?

In 20 years in this field, I've listened to officers’ hopes and hurdles. But the big seed for BOLD was planted a few years ago when Scott Frakes , the recently retired Director of Nebraska DOC, shared his heart for his staff, and I really wanted to make a difference but didn’t know how. BOLD is my dedication to lifting officers to unprecedented potential and well-being.

?

BOLD + Hustle 2.0 together = a catalyst poised to bridge deep societal divides; it represents the most impactful and transformative initiative I've ever introduced to?this world.

?

With Director Ryan Thornell, Ph.D. 's visionary leadership, and a partnership with the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR), we're launching an unprecedented event. Arizona Department of Corrections announced the BOLD event to staff on Friday morning.

In just one day, we received 238 applicants for the 100 spots on April 11 in Phoenix.

?

Epic Lineup ???

Imagine 10 rapid-fire business coaching sessions with officers to help them reach their professional goals as they advance in their leadership at ADCRR. You might be surprised by how entrepreneurial many officers are: many officers will want to pick your brain on their side hustles (companies they run in their personal time, or visions they have for startups).

#PlayWildly isn't just our fun slogan; it's our ethos. We'll host an epic lip sync battle (CEOs vs. The Officers), competitive relay races with prizes, a blindfolded pinata bash, and our powerful Step to the Line experience (again, yes, with officers on the other side of you). Get ready to connect deeply in your humanity--fair warning that this will be an emotionally intense day.

?

Why You'll Love BOLD ???

Over 20 years, I've brought 7,000+ CEOs and investors to prison. Our Coaches describe our events as life-altering.

April 11 and 12 will set new records. I promise.

?

For the Calendar ???

April 11: Empower and coach 100 ADCRR officers (plus ~25 Wardens/other staff) in downtown Phoenix at On Jackson, a world-class private venue that was generously subsidized by this events company!

On April 12: Mentor 100 incarcerated Mavericks in Globe, Arizona (90 minutes from Phoenix).

?

On a Personal Note: Celebrating Milestones in Arizona … with You?! ???

This April, as I mark my 47th birthday, I'm celebrating life and literally getting back on my feet again (after being in a wheelchair for 1.5 years). After a recent breast cancer scare, I got ALL the bad stuff removed in a hospital procedure last week, and I just found out this week I am cancer-free. I am as grateful and ALIVE as ever. All of you who had my back through my health fiasco for the past two years: I love your guts. Look what you’ve empowered me to do.

?

Additionally, this April marks my 20th anniversary of prison work! I’m more fired up than ever: BOLD + Hustle 2.0 aims to heal societal divides in the most transformative way yet. Hustle 2.0 has served 10,000+ incarcerated people in just over five years.

?

When I can’t sleep, I’m fantasizing about the ruckus I'll stir up in the coming 20 years with your help. Even a few months ago, I was deeply depressed and still very sick, and would have never imagined getting to serve in this way. THANK YOU for walking through lots of fires with me—I am finally back to being myself, aka Cray-Cray Cat, the Chief Honey Badger. ?

?

? Shout Out to ADCRR ??

Thanks again to ADCRR and Director Thornell and his remarkable team for daring to make history with us.

Working with the ADCRR team has been an incredibly positive experience; their competence and dedication truly make it an honor to collaborate with them. It's so inspiring to see their leadership teams' hearts for empowering their staff, showcasing a genuine commitment to growth and development.

?

?? Act Fast?

Who wants to serve as a Business Coach for 100 corrections officers to help them live up to their full leadership potential?!! We're capping attendance at 250 total attendees per day (including ADCRR staff/officers/Mavericks), and we only have 26 SPOTS left for Business Coaches.

?

All Coaches and guests must apply. Use this link (please do NOT register through the BOLD site for ADCRR staff; I just wanted you to see how cool it is and to send it to every law enforcement official you know).

Applications for Business Coaching spots are processed on a “first-cleared, first-served” basis. RSVP and security clearance are a MUST for both days; it’s an automated process through the registration link, and you must be a seasoned CEO/investor/senior corrections official to be admitted on April 11. ?

THE FINE PRINT

?

Who Gets the Golden Ticket? ??

- April 12 is open to seasoned CEOs, investors, and senior corrections leaders from beyond ADCRR. Aimed at those at the helm of out-of-state agencies looking to uplift team morale and leadership. Spread the word to your corrections colleagues who are interested in staff wellness and leadership training, and please register via this link.

?

Invest in Change ??

- A $895 tax-deductible charitable contribution from our CEOs and investors fuels scholarships and the event itself, costing us around $50-60K to create this remarkable experience. In appreciation, select senior corrections officials can join without the fee (travel is on you)—act fast, and RSVP soon to secure your spot in this unique circle. (Security clearance is also required for correctional officials outside of ADCRR.)

Want to Donate Swag or Food for The 100 Officers?

- Holler at us by emailing Jessica George at [email protected]. We want cool BOLD stuff, and we'll recognize you/your company as a sponsor. My dream is to get a BOLD-branded energy drink. :) Our current plan is to serve pizza for lunch, but any AZ companies are warmly invited to donate food. And any other company that wants to donate snack bars, etc.: we are a hungry crowd in more ways than one.

April 12 Call for Formerly-Incarcerated Role Models ??

- Special invite to our Hustle 2.0, Defy, and PEP grads who have launched companies to serve as Business Coaches to incarcerated Mavericks on April 12. Due to space limitations, grads are limited to attendance on April 12. Contact John Jackson at [email protected] for waived or reduced fees. Note: Travel costs are on you.

?

Family Bonds ????????

- Teenagers are welcome to join their parents on April 12 only at the prison event with Mavericks, for a day of learning and legacy-building at the prison event. It’s an invaluable chance to share your values and philanthropy together as a family. Teenagers must be accompanied by their parent 100% of the time at the event.

Keynote Speakers

Forget the usual conference scene. We're breaking the mold with just three "TED-style" keynotes. We're proud to announce our speakers: Joe Moglia , Dave Crenshaw , and Brian Lovins .

P.S. Vision Sneak Peek ??

Having devoted my life to using entrepreneurship as a mechanism to transform lives and hustle, here’s a sneak peek into my wild mind and where I’m taking this vision after we launch in April:

1.??? Envision Shark Tank with a BOLD Twist: In the near future, we’ll roll out entrepreneurship training (curriculum) for officers, and future events will allow officers to present their business or side hustle ideas to investors for real startup capital, ensuring they're prepared for a dynamic future. As officers contemplate their retirement, I envision them crafting a “2.0 narrative” filled with vitality, purpose, and contribution. And what better avenue to achieve this than through entrepreneurship?!!

?

2.??? Education Revolution: Soon, all law enforcement will have access to a college-accredited curriculum through BOLD, thanks to our collaboration with Southern Utah University . SUU is working with us to develop university pathways (undergrad degrees in business and criminal justice) AND an MBA pathway too, for officers who already have undergrad degree. More education = more promotions, stronger leadership, and empowerment. YEAH!

Be?BOLD.

Be INSPIRED.

Be?UNSTOPPABLE.
