In an effort to provide even more resources for local startups, The Dallas Entrepreneur Center has announced a new partnership with the Dallas Chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization [“EO”] that will center around a year-long, free Speaker Series that will cover key topics that entrepreneurs often wrestle with as they grow and build their businesses. The series will be hosted at various co-working spaces throughout the Metroplex.
The first event in the series, “Raising Capital – How & Where to Get Money for Your Startup”, will take place on March 19th at Industrious Dallas and will feature venture backed entrepreneurs as they share their experiences of raising cash in Texas.
“Through this partnership with EO, we are working to help companies that have already built a proof of concept around their business and we want to help provide the necessary education, training, and mentorship to empower them to move from proof of concept into a scalable and long-term sustainable entity,” stated Alyce Alston, CEO, The DEC Network.
Founded in 1987, Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is a global, peer-to-peer network of more than 13,000+ influential business owners with 186 chapters in 58 countries.
Accelerator, an Entrepreneurs’ Organization program, empowers business owners with the tools they need to grow their revenue to $1+ million per year. Applicants to the program must have a minimum of $250,000 in annual revenue to be considered for membership.
“We are excited to partner with The DEC Network to launch this program”, said Wolf Hanschen, Chair of the EO Accelerator program in Dallas. “At EO, we are committed to the growth and success of entrepreneurs and that fits perfectly with the historic success the DEC Network has had in helping entrepreneurs start, build, and grow businesses.
