Launch of hard-hitting data and analytics strategy and advisory business

I'm delighted to announce today that I have taken the conscious decision to focus my energies on my data and analytics strategy and advisory business: DataTick. That’s with a capital ‘D’ and capital ‘T’.

I’ve been fortunate to have had a long tenure, of over 30 years, in data and analytics and have led some of the largest data transformations in Europe as well as leading the data capabilities for some of the most interesting firms in the UK.?

I’ve also just completed a book entitled “Data and analytics strategy for Business”. Due to be published by Kogan Page in 2022. I’m not the first person to write a book around this subject. However, what I wanted to do was write a book that helped fellow data professionals be successful, enable CEOs, CFOs, CIOs and other C suite to understand how to make their organisations more successful through the use of data, and finally to write a book that business schools and universities can use as their reference book on the subject. As I know from my experience of my MBA the core subjects are marketing, law, human resources, finance, accounting and international business but data and analytics needs to be up there too. I think the book achieves that with key artefacts that you’ll want to use and make your own. It was doing this book that convinced me that I wanted to go it alone, and will shortly be joined by an able team.?
