Launch Into Cyberspace
Marilyn Friesen
Everyone's work is a portrait of themself Author of several historical novels
Doesn't it seem like old times? Life has really slowed down for some although others are frantically trying to juggle a business with children underfoot all day, every day. And because they are bored and restless they are more likely to tease the cat, pick a fight with a sibling or get into all sorts of mischief. It's enough to tear a career women's hair out, or anyone else's for that matter, especially if they are trying to step in and homeschool one or more kids!
But some of us are having a break. We are luxuriating in front of the computer rolling out realms of words! I wonder how many new books will be hitting the market as a result of this self-isolation? Will there be everything from fantasies to mysteries with COVID 19 lurking between the pages? Throwing it in a romance might be kind of awkward, if not downright hilarious. BUT if you need a recess from writing, check out one of these books. (the ebooks are free.) I read that people ignore books without reviews but how in the world are authors like me supposed to launch into cyberspace if I'm ignored? Where's a scratch-my-bewildered-head emoji when I need it?
The teenage bride escapes the bombing in Birmingham but faces other worries. Why was her husband banished from the war? Why is he sitting in jail? What should she do with her newborn twins before she meets him since he made it plain he didn't want to be a Daddy?
Feelings run high when the girls accidentally discover they have a twin. What will happen now? Will dreadful circumstances keep them apart? If so, for how long?
I'm not telling you, so if you want to find out you will have to grab the book. They are both on Amazon and if you want me to review something for you in exchange, just let me know! Marilyn Friesen
