The business has previously stated that the automobile will be ready for introduction in India by late 2023. However, geopolitical concerns have resulted in strained relations between India and China. Initially, Great Wall Motors, a well-known SUV manufacturer, was denied the required permissions to assume management of the closed Chevrolet facility in the vicinity of Pune from General Motors. Ultimately, Hyundai acquired the plant. GWM eventually withdrew from India as a result. In that location, the business had established an office and employed personnel.
