LAUGHTER IS GOOD FOR US....SMILE....THIS CAME, TODAY, FROM MY PASTOR.....

The Bible says that laughter is good for us. During these strange days I have found that it is helpful to keep a sense of humor. What we have been experiencing is very serious, no doubt, but taking time to laugh is important.

I ran across these recently:

You know you’re old when you know all the answers, but nobody asks you any questions.

You know you’re old when you get winded playing checkers.

You know you’re old when you need a fire permit to light all the birthday candles on your cake and you need oxygen after blowing them out.

You know you’re old when you sink your teeth into a thick steak, and they stay there.

You know you’re old when you feel like ‘the morning after’ and you haven’t been anywhere.

You know you’re old when you stop to think and sometimes forget to start again.

You know you’re old when your pacemaker opens the garage door whenever a cute gal walks by.

You know you’re old when a fortune teller wants to read your face.

You know you’re old when you finally get it all together, but you can’t remember where you put it.

You know you’re old when you pray for a good prune juice harvest.

Here is a word from the Word:

“Our mouths were filled with laughter then, and our tongues with shouts of joy. Then they said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done great things for them.’” (Psalm 126:2)
