A Laughing Stock - An Untold Story of an Unheard Boy

We live in a world where people are judged, neither by their creativity nor by their intelligence but by their bank balance or by their status. People don't want to help but like to point out mistakes.

Today, i'm going to tell you a story about a boy who became a laughing stock in a cruel community and his self confidence was sucked by the people around him. He struggled while proving himself to the people who didn't even care. That poor soul was struck so hard that it didn't take any more.

There was a boy named Nicholas. He belonged to a poor family and struggled throughout his life. He was an orphan and only had a small hut that he called his home. No one in the community accepted him just because his family background wasn't that strong or rich. Everybody saw him as a burden in the community and always threw him away. He was shattered by their attitude towards him.

He went into a school. He didn't have a proper uniform to wear due to which he was made fun of. Everyone in the class and the school made fun of him, bullied him for his poor family background. Nobody wanted to play with him or even sit with him. Nobody wanted to be his friend due to which he was always alone all the time in the school.

He needed a job to survive so he tried to get a job in the community but he couldn't just because he was considered disgusted. Due to his community's rejection, he tried to find a job at other side of the city and fortunately he got a job there as a receptionist at a good hotel because he was talented. He had to travel by foot for miles daily to get to the hotel for the job but he didn't complain.

One day, one of his community members came into the hotel and saw him on the reception. Unfortunately, that community member was the biggest share holder in the hotel so he demanded the manager to kick the boy out and manager had no choice but to fire the boy.

Nicholas was broken into pieces and he complained to God for not making him rich. Time passed and one day, Nicholas ran out of his savings and he had no source to survive and not a penny to buy food. So, he sell his home to get the money and he began to sleep on the footpath with other homeless people.

He was tired of sleeping outside so he decided to go door by door for help but no one in the community helped him and pushed him away and laughed at him.

He was so disappointed and couldn't take it anymore so he decided to end his life because he didn't see any hope.

Next morning, a body was hanging on a traffic signal right in the center of community and that dead body was Nicholas.

After one week, God decided to punish the whole community and take Nichola's revenge. So, a strong Earthquake struck the city but it only damaged that specific community where Nicholas lived and it completely vanished the community to its core. Not a single soul in the community survived.

After that, the place was named "A Laughing Stock. "

There are a lot of Nicholas around us, please help them out and accept them as yours. Otherwise, there'll be a body hanging on every traffic signal. Help people out so that our community must not face such wrath of Almighty.
